Authentic, Friendly and great food.

If you like Thai food this is the place to eat.
Although this place is in the centre of Chelmsford, its not easily found. Entering a small doorway and up a narrow staircase you may wonder what will welcome you, but as you turn the corner you are greeted with a smiling face in a setting from another continent, straight away you feel like you are going to have a great experience.

We were given menus and told of the history of the this restaurant and the family owners.
We had the sharing platter to start which contained five of the dishes on the starter menu, when it arrived the waitress talked us through each one and which of the many sauces went with each.

For our mains we chose a selection of stir frys, curry, noodle and rice dishes to share between us, all of which were excellent. Washing it down with a bottle of wine and a couple of cokes.
We had deserts each consisting of Lyches, mango sorbets and an ice cream dish.
Everything was served at a comfortable pace and the waitress was attentive without being pushy.

The bill was just under £90 for the three of us which we thought was great value for what we had. The next time I’m in the Chelmsford area I will be making my way back there to try some more dishes on there expansive menu.
